About Cliff
Several years ago I decided to become a celebrant
because it was something that I believed I could do
well and enjoy.
I have a background well suited to celebrancy as a result of both my
business and academic background.
Professionally, for the past nine years I have been self employed as
a private tutor specialising in assisting adults prepare for entrance
exams and the interview process for positions in the emergency services,
with particular emphasis on police recruitment.
Prior to being self employed I worked for the Department of Human
Services Wangaratta office in several roles including the field of child
welfare and resource management. I appeared in the media many times in
this role and was well known in the local community.
I have always taken an interest in community work and have been a
president, secretary and board member of an Apex Australia club.
Currently I am involved on the committee of the Blue Ribbon foundation.
I also have a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a Graduate Diploma of
Education and a Diploma of Marriage Celebrancy from the Australian
College of Celebrancy.I have worked as a secondary school teacher and
Tafe lecturer, and have a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
My wife and I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and
Egypt and I have performed ceremonies for people from diverse cultural
and social backgrounds.
My extensive experience in public speaking has given me the skills
needed for quality delivery of a ceremony. I am committed to the highest
standards of ethics and professionalism and look forward to meeting with
you to discuss your needs.
